the new cd for camper van beethoven is due out later this year. it’s coming out on cooking vinyl, and it’s gonna be a goody. i did the package design and it was a lot of fun. it was based on the poster i did for them for the shows at the end of last year. a sneak preview:

oh my gosh… i was just looking thru the gocco listings on etsy and really loved your work and don’t want to go to bed and so came to this blog.
and these are photos by janet fine? the santa cruz janet fine? i love and adore janet fine! i know her thru all the cabrillo college artsy folks.
i live in eugene oregon and miss california, land of my birth. ok, i could go on and on and if that dog is a greyhound i will really think this is divine intervention.

Yes – that is, in fact, the Janet Fine from Santa Cruz. She is one of my favorite people, and is an amazing artist. I would link to her site – except she doesn’t have one yet! She needs to do a blog! (Janet?)
I love the bunny ears as well. I found the bunny suit at a thrift store in San Jose for $25. It’s soooo good. Try wearing one and giving out carrots at Burning Man sometime. The kids giggled at that.
