i hope it’s good. it looks good.
“you gotta give ‘em hope.”
hi and more hi,
i didn’t know this movie was being made. but harvey milk’s life has had the most profound effect on mine. in one week in southern oregon i saw the documentary about him and the pbs documentary about mlk. i went to work at my conservative little hospital in grants pass and came out.
i hope and hope it’s good too, for a whole new generation to understand…
and i hope you are well,
janice from eugene
thanks so much for writing & sharing. i want so much for people to see this. i wish it were coming out before the election in november. i suspect that it might open some minds.
it sounds like the experience you had with harvey milk is similar to the one i had with vito russo. he taught his class ‘the celluloid closet’ at UCSC, and i took the class, and i talked with vito a few times, and then i came out.
